Breed Specific Seminar
Sunday 25th September
The North of England WSSC are holding a Breed Specific seminar on Sunday 25th September at Thorpe Willoughby, near Selby. The main speaker is Lesley Tain.
There are 2 options, more experienced judges can apply to be assessed in the afternoon in order to progress on the club's judging lists.
Less experienced can opt for an informal hands- on session designed at enhancing their understanding of our breed. Places are limited and details are available from David Howarth on 015242 22052 or arkview@aol.com.
NEWSSC Open Show Sunday 6th November 2011
Schedules are available for the NEWSSC’s Open Show which is being held on Sunday 6th November at Carlton Village Hall near Selby,the judge is Jennifer Murray (Priestbeck), details from David or Jane Howarth as above.
COMMITTEE MEETING 31/10/2010
Following the committee meeting on 31/10/2010 Pat Butler Holly has resigned as secretary and committee member of the NEWSSC and her place has been taken by Lisa Butler.
A Judging Seminar will take place on Sunday 26th September 2011 in the Leeds/Wakefield area full details to be obtained nearer the time from Chairman Mr David Howarth.
2011 judging lists will be finalised at committee meeting on 09/01/2011. Anyone wishing to apply should contact David Howarth arkview@aol.com or Lisa Butler KthBut@aol.com well before the meeting and should provide details of judging experience, seminars attended, and numbers of WSS in the stud book. I would like to thank the committee & exhibitors for making my day so
enjoyable & to my steward for his good organization. I found that some exhibits
were carrying too much weight which spoils outline & movement.

nice bone & feet, moved well.
2 Backhouse’s Aindrea Lotofunwioutlafin Another nice puppy not as forward as 1, good body & quarters,
preferred head of winner.

1 Waddell's Ferndel Aeron Magregor Much to admire about this young dog, clean neck & shoulders,
good spring of rib & depth in body, liked his head, tightfeet, moving well. BPD
2 Greenwood's Menstonia Major General Among Telkaro Also a very nice
dog, soft expression good bone & body properties, just lacked the sparkle of winner. Moved soundly.

could do with more hind angulation, but that will come with maturity, moved well.

good conformation, at 7 years moving well & enjoying his day.
2 Morgan's Amiro The Thinker This dog has improved with age, square
muzzle, and nice outline short coupled in good coat, at 9 years still moving well.

shape, good bone & feet balanced outline, moved round the ring as if he owned it with sound driving movement.
2 Murray's Slapestones Mars At Priestbeck nice size & shape to this masculine dog, moved well but could not
match 1 on the move.

1 Tanner/Crowther's Tannermoor Brychan Nicely balanced dog of correct
proportions, good length of neck, would prefer him to be stronger in head, in good coat, moved well.
2 Place's Menstonia Worth a Chance at Aarminias Pleasing in outline well shaped head, not the coat & condition
of winner, good bone & feet, moved OK.

2 Riley's Ravensworth Armada Masculine head square muzzle, good bone he is a over weight which spoilt him when
stood & on the move.

tight feet, moving well.
